Transition Year Programme - "Front of House"

Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, the owners of Food School know exactly what young people need to learn to help them work within the hospitality industry.

 This programme was designed for Transition Year students to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to work within the hospitality industry.

The course is 3 hours long.

During the course, the students will learn how to professionally carry 3 plates, professionally take food orders, carry drinks correctly, and set up a fine-dining restaurant. They will also learn how to organise a mis-en-place table, how to complete an order of service, and the course finishes with a simulation of a restaurant service, run by the students.
